Tarde is a handbook made of a single A4 paper sheet, printed on both sides and folded four times. However, you can also find extra folios and other types of printed content such as stickers, postcards, pictures, and maps. Paying attention to the extra folios, they may have either different formats or ways to be folded. In order to make it easy, we have covered you here with this detailed guide to print and fold all your Tarde Issues.
- Before printing a number, please open it on Adobe Acrobat or any similar program to guarantee better communication with your printer and preserve the file format.
- Please, have handy a ruler, a cutter, a cutting mat, or another surface where you can freely cut.
Handbook
As it was already introduced, the handbook should be printed on an A4 sheet. Although, in general terms, each issue has been designed colored, it does not matter if you decide to go black and white. What is really important is that you print everything borderless unless it says the contrary. Sometimes, it is possible that your printer may require an extra configuration to print without borders. It may be, perhaps, something related to paper orientation or layout. However, you know your printer better than anyone else. Just keep an eye on the document preview.
Flyer (big and small)
The big flyer is a piece made of A5 paper, which means it is a half-A4 sheet. On the other hand, the format of the small one is A6, which is, a quarter of an A4 paper sheet. Following the same line as the Handbook, both small and big fliers should be printed borderless. To facilitate your printing experience, the flyers can be downloaded over a full A4 sheet. Please, use or recycle the rest of the paper sheet.
Map
This artifact is also printed on a whole borderless A4 paper sheet. Talking about the format, the difference between this piece and the Handbook is the way both are folded. Meanwhile, the Handbook is divided into eight A7 sections, the map must be folded into 16 A8 ones.
Special number: Landscaping pavements
This number experiments with a different folding format. Although it starts with an A4 piece of paper and keeps the original A7 form when it is folded, the process of assembling it changes dramatically. The most notorious of those changes is the design of a small foldable gallery by taking advantage of different paper cuts.
