A modular ethnographic object
This publication has been conceived as a modular object that can be expanded by volumes, frequency, and number of copies, adding new media, formats, and materials, all depending on the requirements of its content.
This modularity is not a formal choice. It follows from the nature of its object: urban entanglements do not arrive in stable, pre-formatted shapes. The publication adjusts to what it needs to hold.
Each issue is a discrete, self-contained unit that keeps itself open. Issues can nest, combine, or remain separate. A single topic can expand across volumes or compress into a single sheet. The format obeys the content, not the other way around.
